Around the country, art and visual verse are popping up in public places because we really do seem to crave it in our daily lives.
In New York City, Poetry in Motion is back by demand. This program, which brought poetry into New York subways, is returning this spring after a four-year hiatus! In its latest iteration, text + art will liven up subway cars and MetroCards, offering passengers a moment of truth + beauty in the midst of the push and scuttle of public transportation.
