COMEMADRE and INDECENCY are longlisted for the 2018 National Book Awards

The 2018 National Book Awards longlists have been announced, and we have two books among the titles! 

Comemadre by Roque Larraquy, translated by Heather Cleary, is on the longlist for translated literature. 2018 is the first year for the translated literature category of the National Book Awards. 

Indecency by Justin Phillip Reed is on the longlist for poetry, one of three debut collections on the list.

The finalists for the National Book Awards will be announced on October 10th. The awards ceremony and benefit dinner will take place on November 14th. Congratulations to all!
